This is a well-designed pergola overall, but I think it’s important to set the right expectations.

The good:
It looks great once installed. The finish is clean, and the louver system works smoothly. It definitely adds value visually to the backyard.

The not-so-good:
Assembly is more involved than I expected. It’s not complicated, but it is time-consuming and requires precision. Some of the holes didn’t line up perfectly, which meant loosening multiple sections and adjusting things repeatedly.
Also, a few of the louvers came slightly bent. I was able to fix them with some gentle pressure, but at this price point I would expect better quality control.
Shipping was another mixed experience. Boxes arrived on different days, and one was delayed, which slowed down the whole process.

Overall, I’d say it’s a good product, but not a “perfect out-of-the-box” experience

Shipping came in separate boxes over a few days which had me a bit worried at first… but everything showed up eventually. Just be patient.

We were worried to order this with just few reviews but it turned out fantastic and seems pretty high quality. Held up to hail well. Was pretty difficult and time consuming to install.

We put this right by the deep end. Kids love playing in the "tent" when the louvers are closed.

I live in a region where winters are no joke, and I was honestly nervous about how an aluminum pergola would handle the snow load. As you can see, we just had our first big dusting and it didn't even flinch.

I installed the 10x12 version on my rooftop deck, and overall I’m very satisfied with the purchase. The pergola looks fantastic once it’s fully assembled, very clean, modern design, and it definitely elevates the space.
That said, there are a few things worth pointing out.

First, the overall build quality is solid. Living close to the coast, this is something I pay attention to. The long-term rust could be a concern, even if it’s coated.
Second, the installation process is doable but not “easy.” It took me around 6–7 hours mostly by myself. I would strongly recommend using a power drill, doing it manually would be rough. Also, aligning the center beam took some patience. It didn’t sit perfectly flush at first, and I had to loosen and re-tighten multiple times.
One small design thing, I wish there was better sealing around some of the beam joints. I ended up adding a bit of my own sealant just to be safe for rain.
On the positive side, the louvers work very smoothly and are actually the highlight of the whole system. Being able to adjust sunlight throughout the day is a huge plus.
Overall, for the price point, I think this is a great value. Not perfect, but definitely worth it if you’re willing to spend some time on the install.

Instructions are good overall, but a couple steps (especially the center beam) could be explained better. Took some trial and error.

This pergola changed the entire vibe of the backyard. It fits the space perfectly and gives us that 'indoor-outdoor' flow we wanted. It's solid, doesn't rattle in the wind, and the drainage actually works as promised.

We added the side screens later and it turned into a really cozy outdoor room.

We've had this up for a few months now and it's been great. It's survived a couple of nasty storms already and the louvered roof kept everything underneath bone dry. I love that the drainage is hidden inside the posts and it looks much cleaner than having gutters sticking out everywhere.

We installed the 12x12 pergola in our backyard over a concrete patio, and the transformation is honestly incredible. It went from a plain outdoor space to something that feels like an outdoor living room.

The product arrived in multiple boxes over a few days, which initially worried me, but everything showed up and was well packaged. Nothing major was damaged, just a couple minor scuffs that were barely noticeable.

Assembly took about 5 hours with two people. The instructions were clear, and all parts were labeled, which made a big difference. There are a LOT of screws, so definitely use a drill.

Once assembled, the structure feels extremely solid. We anchored it into the concrete, and even with some recent windy days, it hasn’t moved or rattled.

The adjustable louvers are by far my favorite feature. We open them in the morning for light and close them in the afternoon for shade. No leaks so far, even after a couple of rainy days.

We’ve already had several neighbors ask about it, which says a lot.

Ordered this during the sale. Shipping was faster than expected and everything was packed really well-no scratches or missing bolts (which is rare these days). The frame is thick and feels like it'll last for years. The hand crank for the louvers is heavy-duty too.

I was a bit worried about buying a pergola online without seeing it first, but man, the photos don't do this justice. Look at the gauge of that aluminum in my photo--it's thick and feels incredibly solid.I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to outdoor gear, and even the hardware and the way the louvers seat together impressed me.
